TILLY  was rescued ( along with several other Greyhounds) from a
trainers kennels, after her license was removed following serious
welfare issues.

Owners of some of the Greyhounds there, agreed to sign ownership of
their Greyhounds to AfG and two other rescues.

Tilly was one of two who came into the care of AfG.

She was riddled with fleas, with a dull coat with dry skin and very timid.

After straight away being treated for internal and external parasites
and starting her inoculation course,( and a few weeks later, neutering
and much needed dental treatment).

She met up with another rescued Greyhound, who she was to share her home
with.

Introductions went very well and Tilly soon started settling in and
exploring her new surroundings.

Although very confident in her home environment, Tilly was (and often
sometimes still is) timid when outdoors especially from the noise of
heavy traffic and is especially scared (as are many dogs) of fireworks.

However, due to the experience, dedication and patience of her carers,
she copes very well.

Originally Tilly was to go as a foster hound but her carers fell for her
straight away and as this was an ideal home for her, it instead became
her forever home.
