These neck-bands have been designed for non-sighthound breeds with thicker, shorter necks.
You will need to measure your dog’s neck allowing a finger to fit underneath the tape measure and allowing about 2″ to 3″ for the Velcro overlap for the overall length.

The neck-bands, once immersed in cold water, absorb 10 times more water than a towel or flannel and when wrung out slightly will stay cold and wet without dripping. The neck-band must be washed in mild detergent by machine or hand at no higher than 40 degrees and dried flat (not tumble dried or ironed). A care pamphlet will be supplied with your Cool Houndz neck-band.
When completely dry, the neck-band will be stiff (like cardboard) but can still be folded. It is advisable after each use, to dry the neck-band thoroughly before storing until the next use.
