In Memory of Snip Nua

Rest in Peace  Dear young hound

April 2008 – December 14th 2009

This portrait was created exclusively for AfG by artist and AfG. Supporter Thomasz Adamski, to continue raising awareness of her and thousands of Greyhounds who have not survived the Greyhound racing industry.

Dear little Snip was ‘owned’ by the high profile FIOR GAEL Greyhound
racing syndicate of barristers, lawyers, journalists and T.V personality
Dara O Briain.

She was needlessly destroyed following a ‘treatable’ racetrack injury on
14.12.2009

This timid young hound was featured on BBC program ‘Three men go to
Ireland’ featuring O Briain, Rory McGrath and Griff Ryhs Jones.

It was broadcast over Christmas 2009 (after poor Snip was deceased).

The viewing was uncomfortable for many of us, with the dear hound
noticeably timid and receiving no tenderness or encouragement from the
three men.
